How does the region render work? In the manual it states “CTRL-B” as a shortcut, but that does not work in any viewport for me.
Hi davis,
Huh, do we still have a hotkey in the manual for it?
Click View ->Render Border. Then drag with the mouse where you want your rectangle. This area gets rendered with your current chosen renderer then. Either when you set the viewport rendering to Rendered. Or switch to camera view, then mark a render border, then this area gets rendered when you hit F12.
To clear the render border use Clear Render border
Kind regards
Reiner
Great, thanks. (y)
It´s on page 5 in https://www.bforartists.de/data/manual/10.1.1%20Render%20-%20General.pdf
Many thanks. This needs of course to be removed.
The current manual is in big parts still the Blender manual. I’ve gone through it before to remove all hotkeys and to fix the most obvious parts. But some things always slips through.
This reminds me to go on with the manual rewrite. There is work in the scope of manyears waiting …
Fixed and updated in the wiki.
