I noticed that BFA v 3.5 only took 3 days to catch up with Blender v 3.5 latest release. I can only imagine it’s similar to compiling Blender v3.5 then you overwrite your own UI code to to that build?
I was wondering if you compile Blender Branch Builds or APHA builds?
Or do you make your own BFA Beta tests or clones like Blender’s test builds?Hi Eric,
It is not two hours or three days and then we have catched up. It is a permanent process. We do a weekly merge. And we have a weekly developer build. And when a new Blender version arrives then we do a full version instead of a developer version.

If you’d like to try development builds, we release one each week more or less – these come in from the Blender main branch, ei.. the latest from Blender development.

Light Linking is what I want to try with BFA.
When it’s in Blender then it should be in Bforartists too.

Light linking is now in the master, meaning the devbuild this week has it included now. You can download it today.

Master? Where do I find this?
Master is the branch where the stable code resides in the repository. It contains the latest changes. Blender has called it master in the past too. But renamed it to main now.
We merge the Blender code and do a devbuild then once in a week. And this means you can find the build with the latest changes in our download section in the developer build subsection.
