Hi i try today V 1.5 of ManuelbastioniLAB in Bforartists 0.9.2 Mac OSx Version. The aim of Manuel Bastioni Laboratory is to bring you a set of advanced tools to turn your Blender in a powerful laboratory for characters creation. http://www.manuelbastioni.com/index.php
I tried out for a few hours and made sure that everything works like designed. Important if you use V 1.4 in Bforartists is first uninstall V 1.4, restart Bforartists, and then install V 1.5 . Otherwise you will get some errors. It is not a Problem. If you forget the restart and have such errors, then restart Bforartists, and the errors are gone.
If you use Cycles with HDRI Maps, then delete first the Light Set that was created with every character. Or remove the HDRI Image from Scene (that speed up rendering a little bit). If you leave the HDRI background you will get no proper Results for the Skin. You can use HDRI, but thhen without the default Light set, not both together.
A real cool Feature is that V 1.5 can import any bhv Motion File to your actual character. And the Lab will automatically map it to mesh. No more bhv importer. No more motion correctors. All works really nice. The whole Material Node system for Skin and other Character Parts are now much more simple. But with much better results. Take a look at the Homepage of that Plugin. You will find there a lot of samples.
best Andre
